Spring Haul



Easter Break is nearly over and I really enjoyed this break. I went on several shopping sprees and had some adventures in a trampoline world. 

Maybe I have a little obsession with beauty products (holds hands in front of eyes)…




I got a new shampoo and conditioner from Garnier. It’s their Coco Water one…the new design made me get it (...upps). 
I tried a Garnier shampoo before and didn’t really love it but I give this one a try (I will report back). 
(Tested it out now and it is pretty good, nice smell and does the job)



Also, I got another two of Garnier’s Matcha and Kaolin Masks. I just love them and they really work! You leave them on for 10mins and rinse them off.
A little tip if you put the mask on leave a bigger space between the mask and your eyes because it can burn a little. 



For deodorant I got a roll on in the scent fresh pure and another one in fresh flower from Nivea. 
Two really decent scents but I like them.
And most importantly they are aluminium free.



For Lips I got an eos lip balm in the scent coconut milk. 
It was a real bargain from TKMaxx (saved 2£).
Another Burt’s Bees Lipstick in the colour 501 Blush Basin. It’s a light pink brownish tone and is really moisturising.

 
Also from TKMaxx I got a new boyfriend jeans and I’m in love with it. The flower applications and the fit 😍 .The Brand is called 365 Denim.  
Another bargain are those Lavera shower gel and body lotion in lime (saved 4£). 
Lavera is a brand that sells and produces natural and vegan beauty products. Their products are 100% silicone, paraffin, micro plastic and mineral oil free.  




Alright now I have to admit that I really fancied some Zoella beauty products and so I went and bought the Bath Latte and the Sweet Inspirations Body Mist which really smells amazing by the way.

The perfect recipe for those  who always have bananas left over you will need a 25 cm cake tin prep time: 25 minutes, cooking time: 50 minutes What you will need: 2 really ripe bananas 150g butter 125g sugar 1 sachet of vanilla sugar 1 pinch of salt 2 eggs 125 ml milk 1 teaspoon cinnamon 100g of choped nuts (like walnuts or hazelnuts) (optional) 250g flour half of a sachet of paking powder To do: Preheat the oven to 180°C/370°F/GM 4 Grease the cake tin. Squash Quiche

It is time for a new food post :)  I really wanted to make a Quiche with squash ‘cause I saw a recipe in a magazine. So here you go… Prep time: 30mins; cooking time: 30-40mins What you will need: 125ml warm (but not hot) milk 20g yeast 250g flour Salt 6 tablespoons oil 100g ham 2 leeks 500g squash  pepper 250ml double cream 3 eggs 50g grated cheese To do: Add the flour into a large bowl and mould a well. Add the yeast and pour a little bit of the milk on top. Wait half an hour for the yeast to grow. You can put a lid onto the bowl and leave it at a warm spot. Whilst you wait you can prepare the squash, leek and ham. Cut the leek in little round pieces and the ham into little pieces too. Cut the squash and remove the seeds. Squash Risotto

It's autumn and that means, squash season... With all that squash, you can bake and make all kind of things. As for today I made a really simple squash risotto. Prep time: 10-15 minutes  Cooking time: 30 minutes What you will need (for 2 to 3 Persons): Half a Squash ( I used Hokkaido) Half a Cup Risotto Rice 1 Onion Oil Water Vegetable Buillon Powder Salt Pepper Cheese (like Parmesan) To do: First you have to cut the squash into halves and remove the seeds. You can, but you don't have to peel the shell off (save time). In a pot, you have to make a stock ( you can use some hot water with Vegetable Bouillon Powder) and keep it warm. Next step cut the squash into little pieces. In a pan you have to fry a sliced onion. After that you can put half a cup of risotto rice and the squash into the pan.
