Dealing With New Situations

Everybody knows those sleepless nights and days where you just can’t stop thinking. You think about all those bad things which could happen and why you shouldn’t do this or that.

The thinking part is the worst and trying to distract yourself is sometimes not that easy.
Here are some tips that help me to stop thinking and over worrying stuff :)

First of all try to talk about your fears, your thoughts and what else is going on in your mind. Sometimes it is good to hear that you are over thinking and that you should stop worrying so much. Life can be easy and fun, just let it be!

Distraction
is one key part of stopping to worry.
I listen to music (and of course to sing along as loud as I can, equal how wrong it sounds) like a lot! A lot of artist try to work out there feelings in this way (by writing songs) and I can relate to some (so crazy how deep some songs are).
Watching movies or series is a great option as well. I really enjoy RIVERDALE and BLINDESPOT atm, great shows and you should really start watching them, if you haven’t yet.

It’s autumn now but the sun is still shining (sometimes), so use the opportunity and go for a walk to catch some fresh air and to think about other stuff.
Do things with your friends and talk about life and its ups and downs… I really enjoy those times and you can as well.

Drink tea… There are so many different flavours and some are just dedicated for calming, so start trying.

Maybe you have to cry and that’s fine. Watch a sad movie and let those tears fall… Relieving feeling and sometimes needed. Let it Go.

Favourite method is reading books. Try to be the protagonist and start to create your own movie in your head. It is so interesting how people imagine places differently and that’s why I love reading. Imagination is a huge place, so let’s start and create your own place.

Lastly, I now you can do it. You are strong enough!
Looking back you now you did accomplish something and that’s what matters.
Learn from your past.

There is a saying for exactly that moment:
Don’t Look Back…You Are Not Going This Way

Sounds easier than done (I know)
but believing is all it sometimes needs.
