New In: December

How is it December already? Time runs soooo fast…
Christmas is around the corner and the hunt for presents started.
Here are some bits and pieces I gathered in the last weeks…😊 



I don’t know why but lately I got really lazy with washing of my make up (which is probably really bad, uppsss). To solve this problem I got the new Garnier Natural Honey Flower Cleansing Milk. The ingredients are mostly natural and I don’t feel bad for using it (who wants to use harsh chemicals on their face). You're supposed to put a little bit on a cotton pad and start cleansing. 

For the cold weather there is nothing better than hot chocolate, yummy
And by hot chocolate I mean hot white chocolate… there is just nothing better to warm you up ❤️ 

Mulled wine is a Christmas market tradition so therefore you can make your own. There are mulled wine spice tea bags which you cook up with lots of juice (500ml) and another tea bag of your choice. 

You could probably say that I’m obsessed with tea and those Christmas ones are just great… The German Tea Company „Teekanne“ has a lot of different flavours but my favourite one is called „Hüttenzauber“.

It's so beautifully designed and I love it. 🌺
I got it from amazon for around 9 £.

Do you know that old school game called Animal Crossing…It is now available as an app and I can’t stop playing. It is basically like the original Nintendo game just with some little changes (you can’t plant trees, at least I haven’t yet found out how). FUN 😊 

Last but not least a book recommendation...

















 
















I really enjoyed reading Chasing Red and Always Red (second book) by Isabelle Ronin ❤️ 
It is about Caleb Lockhard and Red alias Veronica Strafford. Veronica is kinda homeless and Caleb wants to help her by letting her stay in his apartment. Veronica has a past that still influences her and she just can’t let go. Caleb therefor flirts with Red constantly but her heart is very well protected...
Really thrilling story and I couldn’t stop until I finished reading…
I really recommend reading it.

The perfect recipe for those  who always have bananas left over you will need a 25 cm cake tin prep time: 25 minutes, cooking time: 50 minutes What you will need: 2 really ripe bananas 150g butter 125g sugar 1 sachet of vanilla sugar 1 pinch of salt 2 eggs 125 ml milk 1 teaspoon cinnamon 100g of choped nuts (like walnuts or hazelnuts) (optional) 250g flour half of a sachet of paking powder To do: Preheat the oven to 180°C/370°F/GM 4 Grease the cake tin. In a bowl you have to beat the butter with the sugar, the vanilla sugar and the pinch of salt together. Add the eggs, the milk, the cinnamon and the nuts. Use a fork to mash the bananas and also add them into the mixture. Now you have to add the flour and the baking powder. Squash Quiche

It is time for a new food post :)  I really wanted to make a Quiche with squash ‘cause I saw a recipe in a magazine. So here you go… Prep time: 30mins; cooking time: 30-40mins What you will need: 125ml warm (but not hot) milk 20g yeast 250g flour Salt 6 tablespoons oil 100g ham 2 leeks 500g squash  pepper 250ml double cream 3 eggs 50g grated cheese To do: Add the flour into a large bowl and mould a well. Add the yeast and pour a little bit of the milk on top. Wait half an hour for the yeast to grow. You can put a lid onto the bowl and leave it at a warm spot. Whilst you wait you can prepare the squash, leek and ham. Cut the leek in little round pieces and the ham into little pieces too. Cut the squash and remove the seeds. Squash Risotto

It's autumn and that means, squash season... With all that squash, you can bake and make all kind of things. As for today I made a really simple squash risotto. Prep time: 10-15 minutes  Cooking time: 30 minutes What you will need (for 2 to 3 Persons): Half a Squash ( I used Hokkaido) Half a Cup Risotto Rice 1 Onion Oil Water Vegetable Buillon Powder Salt Pepper Cheese (like Parmesan) To do: First you have to cut the squash into halves and remove the seeds. You can, but you don't have to peel the shell off (save time). In a pot, you have to make a stock ( you can use some hot water with Vegetable Bouillon Powder) and keep it warm. Next step cut the squash into little pieces. In a pan you have to fry a sliced onion. After that you can put half a cup of risotto rice and the squash into the pan.
