January Bits and Bobs

Let’s say it again…
How is January already over????

It was a month full of work, excitement and some new experiences.
Lot’s of exams were written and I discovered some new things.

So let’s not ramble…


First of all I’m so excited for spring. I love to see all those flowers bloom: tulips, daffodils…

The heat from the radiators really dries my hair and I’m really done with that.
To solve the dry scalp situation I had to use something that really works and that is Head and Shoulders.
Nothing else really helps and I can tell you, Head and Shoulders is the only solution for me.
I use the apple kind and it smells alright, but most importantly, it really helps.


My hunt for some Jeans is always on.
But I found two great ones from Asos.
They are the Ridley ones. I got one pair in black and one in a washed out kinda look.
They really fit perfectly and tight. But I would recommend to get them a little bit long than usual. 
I’m normally a 30 lengthwise but I recommend a 32 at least (I’m around 1,60m tall).


A favorites post wouldn’t be a favorites post without a book recommendation.
Do you enjoy reading love stories that take part in College, then you will enjoy this one.
It’s called The Deal by Elle Kennedy.
It’s about this one bad boy named Garrett Graham and the tough Hannah Wells. 
Garrett is the son of Phil Graham, a hockey legend.

I’m just soooo obsessed with reading and there are soooo many books to read and amazing authors to discover.

They are just so catchy.
Have you already listened to Camila Cabello’s new album? - I highly recommend…
I really enjoy Real Friends and Consequences. 
Two so relatable songs. Songs tell stories you sometimes can’t tell and that is what makes them so good.

Present Idea: Picture Frame

Hello Loves, Are you on the hunt for present ideas? Here is one  J I went on Pinterest to look for some cool ways to present pictures. And I found this idea … So here is how I recreated this idea: I bought a metal ring for plants/flowers and spray painted it golden (mine was 38cm). Make sure that your spray paint is suitable for metal. Now you have to wait 24h for the paint to try. Second step is to attach ribbon onto the metal ring. I used a white ribbon 25mm x 2,5m. To attach the ribbon I used a hot glue gun. It’s a little bit tricky to that but you can do it. Third step is to add some fake flowers and leaves.  I used some apple blossom  J Last step is to add some pictures to your frame (obviously  J ). My pictures had a size of 13 x 9cm. Squash Risotto

It's autumn and that means, squash season... With all that squash, you can bake and make all kind of things. As for today I made a really simple squash risotto. Prep time: 10-15 minutes  Cooking time: 30 minutes What you will need (for 2 to 3 Persons): Half a Squash ( I used Hokkaido) Half a Cup Risotto Rice 1 Onion Oil Water Vegetable Buillon Powder Salt Pepper Cheese (like Parmesan) To do: First you have to cut the squash into halves and remove the seeds. You can, but you don't have to peel the shell off (save time). In a pot, you have to make a stock ( you can use some hot water with Vegetable Bouillon Powder) and keep it warm. Next step cut the squash into little pieces. In a pan you have to fry a sliced onion. After that you can put half a cup of risotto rice and the squash into the pan.
