New In: December

Image
How is it December already? Time runs soooo fast… Christmas is around the corner and the hunt for presents started. Here are some bits and pieces I gathered in the last weeks… 😊   I don’t know why but lately I got really lazy with washing of my make up (which is probably really bad, uppsss). To solve this problem I got the new Garnier Natural Honey Flower Cleansing Milk. The ingredients are mostly natural and I don’t feel bad for using it (who wants to use harsh chemicals on their face). You're supposed to put a little bit on a cotton pad and start cleansing.  For the cold weather there is nothing better than hot chocolate, yummy And by hot chocolate I mean hot white chocolate… there is just nothing better to warm you up ❤️   Mulled wine is a Christmas market tradition so therefore you can make your own. There are mulled wine spice tea bags which you cook up with lots of juice (500ml) and another tea bag of your choice.  You could probably say that I’

Dealing With New Situations

Everybody knows those sleepless nights and days where you just can’t stop thinking. You think about all those bad things which could happen and why you shouldn’t do this or that. The thinking part is the worst and trying to distract yourself is sometimes not that easy. Here are some tips that help me to stop thinking and over worrying stuff :) First of all try to talk about your fears, your thoughts and what else is going on in your mind. Sometimes it is good to hear that you are over thinking and that you should stop worrying so much. Life can be easy and fun, just let it be! Distraction is one key part of stopping to worry. I listen to music (and of course to sing along as loud as I can, equal how wrong it sounds) like a lot! A lot of artist try to work out there feelings in this way (by writing songs) and I can relate to some (so crazy how deep some songs are). Watching movies or series is a great option as well. I really enjoy RIVERDALE and BLINDESPOT

Business Casual Chic and some First Day of Work Advices

New Job New dress code… To look a little bit more chic I had to have some new tops and some cardigans. I always say, a jacket makes an outfit look complete and you really do look dressed… In the office it is not that important to wear a blazer or a suit, but to have one in your closet is not a bad option. But I did not just get new clothes I also got some necessities… Let’s start with the necessities Something to take notes with is a very important point. You can write things to remember in it, like where to park or where you have to go the next day. A calendar is also very handy. You can write upcoming events in it or birthdays, for example (obviously hahah). My calendar is a notebook from TKMaxx and I converted it to calendar. Saved £5. Use an extra notebook to write down how to work programs or how you log into your computer (you can get them from around 30p).  Also handy is some chewing gum or some mints :) Some new shampoo to try is the Herbal Essence

Squash Ravioli

Some leaves are already falling and shops bring back their autumn decoration… I also can spot some squashes here and there… It still makes me sad that (psssttt) summer is nearly over. I just love summer with all its benefits, sun sunshine and beaches… But let’s move on to some positive things. You already know that you can use squash for my Risotto but now you can learn how to make your own Squash Ravioli. This one is a little bit tricky and time consuming but you will manage it (I believe in you).   :) prep time: 30mins cooling time: 30mins cooking time: 7mins For Four This recipe is also easier made with a pasta machine What you will need: Dough: 400g flour (the finer grounded the better)               4 large eggs               2 tablespoons olive oil               1 teaspoon salt Filling: 500g Squash (Hokkaido or Butternut, but I prefer Hokkaido)             1 Onion             Salt             Pepper             Nutmeg

Another Book Review

You’ve guessed it, I’m obsessed with reading… but this time I’m only going to talk about one book series.  The author that I’m talking about is called Mona Kasten . She is from Germany but you can get her book “Begin Again” in English. The Again series is also the book series which I’m going to talk about :)   No spoilers of course ;)  First One : Begin Again This one is about Allie Harper and Kaden White. Allie wants to start all over again and because of that she is moving to Woodshill with a completely new look (Name as well as Hair). In Woodshill she is going to study in College and because of that she is searching for a flat. Every Apartment that she looked at wasn’t the right thing and her last hope is the room in a shared apartment. Sadly Kaden is the one who owns that place and nothing good is going to happen if she stays in that apartment with that tattooed bad boy. Kaden doesn’t have a choice and so he sets some rules and the most important on
