Present Idea: Picture Frame

Image
Hello Loves, Are you on the hunt for present ideas? Here is one  J I went on Pinterest to look for some cool ways to present pictures. And I found this idea … So here is how I recreated this idea: I bought a metal ring for plants/flowers and spray painted it golden (mine was 38cm). Make sure that your spray paint is suitable for metal. Now you have to wait 24h for the paint to try. Second step is to attach ribbon onto the metal ring. I used a white ribbon 25mm x 2,5m. To attach the ribbon I used a hot glue gun. It’s a little bit tricky to that but you can do it. Third step is to add some fake flowers and leaves.  I used some apple blossom  J Last step is to add some pictures to your frame (obviously  J ). My pictures had a size of 13 x 9cm. Disclaimer: The idea belongs to the person/company/blog in the link mentioned above. I just recreated this idea and made some changes to it. Please be careful whilst using the materials mentioned a

ASOS Haul

Image
Hi my Loves, I’m currently sitting on a plane to Lanzarote. The flight is about 4 hours. So why not use the time to write a new Blog Post for you. Little disclaimer: I love to read what others bought and what they think about it. There are also some new laws that tell you to write ‘advertisement’ to posts which contain brand names etc. So if you are not promoting products but post about them you still have to write ‘advertisement’. So please don’t feel mislead if you read ‘advertisement’. I write those blog post and post pictures to all my social medias because I really enjoy taking pictures and giving you some of my thoughts about certain products. Thanks for understanding. So now to another haul, but this time it is mostly clothes. As I’m currently on vacation, you know, I bought a new Bikini. Bikinis from H&M are really affordable and last you a long time (I still use one which I bought 3 years ago and the colors are still there...maybe because it is

Haul: Dm, TKMaxx and More

Image
Hello Loves I’m back to writing :) In the last months I went shopping quite often… I went on a little vacation too. It’s festival season so I had to visit one. I went to World Club Dome and it was just amazing. Music is just one big part of my life and I absolutely love it. Back to what I got :) Let’s start with Nature Valley’s Crunchy. They come in 5 bags with 2 bars in every bag. They are just simple oat bars and a good snack between meals. Love it… One pack is about 2€. Tea addict alert.  Cupper is a „Natural and Fair“ tea company. And I love their green tea as well as the Cranberry&Rasberry Infusion. Just as simple as that. The school year is nearly over so it is time for a new Calendar. What I started last year, is to make my own Calendars. So I got this „OK, here’s the plan…“ note book. It’s from TKMaxx and costs around 5€. I split the sites into 6 parts, so from Mo-Fr and an extra for notes. If you need some inspiration you can visit my Pinteres

Wattpad Review, Tips and Book Recommendation

Image
Currently I’m sitting in my garden and enjoying the lovely weather. I was eager for writing a new blog post, but I didn’t know what I should write so here I am writing about one of my favourite hobbies - reading of course… Photo by  chuttersnap  on  Unsplash Reading can be a really expensive hobby, if you read as many books as me. So here is a good alternative from buying books or ebooks. I discovered Wattpad through an author. Isabelle Ronin wrote Always Red (which is by the way a really good book), but her books are also available on Wattpad. So I started scrolling through the page. At first I was a little skeptical, because the stories are divided in chapters but they somehow look strange… I don’t know why I thought that but it just seemed...strange ;). Instead of going left whilst reading, you scroll down. You can read stories on Wattpad through the website on your computer or through the app on your mobile device. At first the app had some small issues, after

Spring Scents

Image
Can you feel it? The days are getting longer and the mornings brighter… Spring is on its way and I’m so excited. A fresh scent is what I needed and I found one. This one is called Lilly of the Valley by Jean & Len . This brand is specialized in products without any unnecessary ingredients.
„Everything that touches your body becomes a part of it“… Their products are free from Parabens, Silicons and Mineral oils. And their products are also available in their online shop. The fragrance Lily of the Valley is a fresh and kinda floral scent. Usually I like to use sweet scents but this one is just lovely… It’s also not too heavy and leaves just the right amount of fragrance. (Okay I just used the word scent 5 or more times in just two sentences hahah). It’s also very long wearing, I would say around five hours. One bottle contains 50ml and is available for 30€. So if you are on the hunt for a new spring scent I hope this is a good recommendation. Discla

January Bits and Bobs

Image
Let’s say it again… How is January already over???? It was a month full of work, excitement and some new experiences. Lot’s of exams were written and I discovered some new things. So let’s not ramble… First of all I’m so excited for spring. I love to see all those flowers bloom: tulips, daffodils… The heat from the radiators really dries my hair and I’m really done with that. To solve the dry scalp situation I had to use something that really works and that is Head and Shoulders. Nothing else really helps and I can tell you, Head and Shoulders is the only solution for me. I use the apple kind and it smells alright, but most importantly, it really helps. My hunt for some Jeans is always on. But I found two great ones from Asos. They are the Ridley ones. I got one pair in black and one in a washed out kinda look. They really fit perfectly and tight. But I would recommend to get them a little bit long  than usual.   I’m normally

Squash Quiche

Image
It is time for a new food post :)  I really wanted to make a Quiche with squash ‘cause I saw a recipe in a magazine. So here you go… Prep time: 30mins; cooking time: 30-40mins What you will need: 125ml warm (but not hot) milk 20g yeast 250g flour Salt 6 tablespoons oil 100g ham 2 leeks 500g squash  pepper 250ml double cream 3 eggs 50g grated cheese To do: Add the flour into a large bowl and mould a well. Add the yeast and pour a little bit of the milk on top. Wait half an hour for the yeast to grow. You can put a lid onto the bowl and leave it at a warm spot. Whilst you wait you can prepare the squash, leek and ham. Cut the leek in little round pieces and the ham into little pieces too. Cut the squash and remove the seeds. Cook the squash for around 10mins and make a mash out of it. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. After half an hour you can add the rest of the milk to the flour as well as salt and the oil
